My name is Lucas Saez, and I am 21 years old. After studying graphic arts (BAC graphic production), I decided to pursue fashion design school. Currently, I am in my fourth year of fashion design and modeling at ModeEstah.
In this portfolio, I showcase a selection of my work, detailing the process and techniques used in their creation. You will find album covers, trend boards/scrapbooks, mockups, vintage merchandising designs, drawings, etc., created during my graphic production studies or as part of my education at ModeEstah.
My main passions are music and fashion. Music is constantly present in my life, it helps me think and serves as a significant source of inspiration in my fashion designs. My inspirations mainly stem from music, video games, and then fashion. Among the fashion world, the brands that inspire me the most are Vivienne Westwood, Rick Owens, Vetements, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Enfants Riches Déprimés, and Junya Watanabe. However, I am particularly interested in underground brands. Additionally, I draw inspiration from many older (mainly Japanese) brands like Alice Auaa, If Six Was Nine, Yasuyuki Ishii, etc.
I draw most of my inspiration from music, such as rap or experimental rap, rock and its derivatives like punk, goth and metal. Highly intrigued by punk and goth culture, I strive to incorporate its aesthetic into all of my works. I have also started playing the electric guitar and enjoy playing a lot of punk rock and metal.
